Terms and conditions

1. The service

RP Studios, published by James Cornu (self-employed, Chemin de la Rupille 4, 1273 Arzier-le-Muids, Switzerland), creates a roleplay server for GTA V on the FiveM platform (a "city") from a description, hosts it and keeps it online for the duration of the subscription. The city sheet (server rules, laws, jobs, gangs, locations, garage, texts) is generated automatically and can be viewed free of charge before any order. The loading screen of each city carries a discreet mention "City created on rpstudios.app".

2. Plans and prices

• With friends: €19 per month, no setup fee, up to 16 players, city not listed in the public directory. The city goes to sleep after 30 minutes without players and wakes up in one click from the customer area or from its page.
• Community: €49 per month, no setup fee, up to 48 players, featured in the city directory and launch kit.

Launch price: the first 100 Community cities are billed €49 per month instead of €59. This price remains the subscription price for as long as the subscription is not cancelled; a city that is cancelled and then ordered again is billed at the price in effect at that time.

Yearly payment: each plan can be paid for twelve months at the price of ten (two months free). The yearly subscription renews every year at the price in effect for that subscription; it can be cancelled at any time and ends on its anniversary date, with no refund for the current period.

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The first payment covers the first period (one month or one year) and, where applicable, the setup fee. Payment is made by card or by another method offered by Stripe; RP Studios never has access to payment details.

3. Going live and the Cfx.re key

After payment, the customer creates a license key on the website of Cfx.re (the publisher of FiveM) and enters it on their city's page: this is a Cfx.re requirement, and the key remains tied to the customer's account. The city goes live within the following minutes. The customer is the owner and administrator of their city; they undertake to comply with the rules of Cfx.re and Rockstar Games, in particular the ban on selling in-game money or gameplay advantages, and to monetize their server only through authorized means (Tebex).

4. Startup guarantee

If the city does not start within 24 hours after a valid Cfx.re key has been entered, and we are unable to fix the problem within that time, the customer is refunded in full (setup fee and first month) upon simple request to contact@jamescornu.com.

5. Term and cancellation

The subscription is monthly or yearly, as chosen, and renews automatically; the monthly subscription has no minimum commitment. It can be cancelled at any time from the city's page ("Manage or cancel my subscription"); cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. When the subscription ends, the city is shut down; its data is kept for 30 days so it can be resumed, then deleted. A declined payment that is not settled after the automatic reminders ends the subscription.

6. Right of withdrawal

For consumer customers who are entitled to it (in particular in the European Union), the 14-day right of withdrawal applies to online services. By ordering, the customer expressly requests that their city be put online immediately and acknowledges that they lose their right of withdrawal once the city is online. Before it goes live (Cfx.re key not yet entered), they may request cancellation and a full refund by writing to contact@jamescornu.com.

7. Availability and liability

RP Studios does everything it can to keep cities online, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability (maintenance, hosting provider outages, attacks, FiveM or GTA V updates). Generated content may contain inaccuracies, which the customer can have corrected. RP Studios' liability is limited to the amounts paid by the customer over the last twelve months, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. The customer is responsible for what happens on their server and for their community.

8. Minors

The service is reserved for adults. A minor may only order with the consent of their legal representative, who accepts these terms and pays for the subscription on their behalf.

9. Referrals

Every paid city receives a referral link. When a new city is ordered through this link, with a different email address, and stays subscribed for 14 days, the referrer receives a credit equal to one month of their subscription, capped at the monthly price of the referred city. The credit is automatically deducted from their next invoices; it is neither refundable nor convertible into cash. Referrals only count while the referrer's subscription is active. RP Studios may refuse a credit in case of obvious abuse.

10. Trademarks

RP Studios is not affiliated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Cfx.re. Grand Theft Auto and FiveM are trademarks of their respective owners.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the publisher's domicile (Arzier-le-Muids, district of Nyon), subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers in their country of residence. For any question or complaint: contact@jamescornu.com.
